THE 3RD ANNUAL ACF SMOKIN’ BBQ IS SCHEDULED
Saturday, July 25, 2026, join the UW Girls Volleyball Team at the fairgrounds under the grandstands!
Be sure to attend the People’s Choice commencing at 3 p.m. and get served by the University of Wyoming Volleyball Team!
The Backyard teams will compete in a Rib category and an Anything Goes category for the title of Grand Champion Backyard. The Public is INVITED and ENCOURAGED to come out to this great Wyoming barbeque and help select the People’s Choice Award for bragging rights.
This contest will consist of two team events. KCBS professional teams will display KCBS-style BBQ in four meat categories. Chicken, Ribs, Pork, and Brisket will be presented to KCBS-certified BBQ judges for the title of Grand Champion.
BBQ competitors from local areas and across the country will descend upon Laramie, Wyoming, for competition barbeque at this year’s 3rd Annual ACF Smokin’ BBQ competition.

KID’S QUE
Kids’ Que (Ages 10 and Under): This year, we are excited to introduce our very first Kids’ Que competition. Young participants will prepare, cook, and box their own entries in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
The mission of Kids’ Que is to encourage youth to learn the fundamentals of cooking and barbecue while participating in a fair and age-appropriate competition—helping inspire and build the next generation of BBQ enthusiasts.

Help us support the Albany County Fair Alumni Association – a 501(c)(3) Organization. A portion of the net proceeds from our competition barbeque will be used for scholarships and future ground improvements in Laramie, Wyoming.
The first $1,000 raised at the ACF Smokin’ BBQ will help fund two scholarships to local high school seniors attending college or a trade school.
